Exciting times for oncology nursing

The UK Oncology Nursing Society (UKONS) Annual Conference 2017 was held in Harrogate, UK, from the 10–11 of November.

This years’ meeting covered the key themes of person-centred care, immunotherapy and prevention & early diagnosis. Exciting areas discussed included the role of the Clinical Nurse Specialist in the introduction of immunotherapies, the landscape of palliative care nursing and the challenges facing cancer nursing in Europe.
