With a vast range of drugs typically available to treat cancer patients, it can be difficult for clinicians to decide upon the agent that they will prescribe. Diana Lüftner, from the Humboldt University, Berlin, Germany explains to us the major factors which are often considered, and how these may influence the clinician in making their choice.
