David Carbone, MD, PhD, from Ohio State University, Columbus, OH discusses new lung cancer treatments and how they can potentially be tailored to individual patients. Immunotherapy has successfully improved lung cancer outcomes, especially in metastatic disease. However, therapies are continuously being refined as new markers are identified, and new data is generated from novel combination testing. Recently, immunoprevention has been developed, which aims to identify people who are are at a higher risk of developing lung cancer and attempt to prevent cancer development. Recorded at the annual meeting of the European Lung Cancer Conference (ELCC) 2017.
