ECCO 2017 | Treatment options in castration resistant prostate cancer

Stefano Fanti, MD of University of Bologna, Bologna, Italy discusses treatment options in castration resistant prostate cancer at the European Cancer Congress of the European Cancer Organisation (ECCO) 2017 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Dr Fanti explains that patients should be aware of the different therapies that they may be treated with, and whether they will be administered sequentially or in combination. A cure is unlikely in castration resistant prostate cancer, however, there are treatments that are more effective than others in prolonging survival.
