WCLC 2016 | How to monitor and manage immunotherapy related events in lung cancer

Alex Spira, MD, PhD, FACP of Virginia Cancer Specialists, Fairfax, VA talks about immunotherapies and the new challenges they present for clinicians. Immunotherapy drugs lead to side effects and toxicities that are different from the typical oncology side effects that clinicians are used to dealing with. Dr Spira explains how these challenges should be tackled and predicts that immunotherapy will be increasingly used as frontline therapy and also in combination with other agents.
