Domenica Lorusso, MD, PhD, from the Fondazione IRCCS Instituto Nazionale Dei Tumori, Milan, Italy, discusses the addition of chemotherapy to the current standard of care for endometrial cancer at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2017 in Madrid, Spain. Currently, the standard of care for patients with endometrial cancer is lymphadenectomy and radiation. However, recently, the addition of chemotherapy in patients with Stage IB Grade 3 tumors has been shown to improve outcome.
