ECCO 2017 | What is the eHealth 2020 action plan?

Terje Peetso, MD from the European Commission, Brussels, Belgium the eHealth 2020 action plan at the European Cancer Congress of the European Cancer Organisation (ECCO) 2017 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The eHealth 2020 action plan was designed to empower patients and healthcare workers, to provide a more patients-centred health service. Dr Peetso explains that it consists of four key areas of work; the interpretability of data, research funding, raising awareness, and international co-operation.
