ELCC 2022 | Developing clinical guidelines for the treatment of patients with thymic epithelial tumors

Jordi Remon, MD, PhD, HM CIOCC – Centro Integral Oncológico Clara Campal, Barcelona, Spain, talks on the development of unifying clinical guidelines for thymic epithelial tumors, including the role of surgery and postoperative treatment with radiotherapy or chemotherapy for early-stage disease and treatment approaches for locally advanced and metastatic disease. Dr Remon and colleagues recently published guidelines in Spain, with the aim of standardizing the treatment of patients with thymic epithelial tumors. This interview took place during the virtual European Lung Cancer Congress 2022.
