Nick Woznitza, MBE, PhD, FBIR, FCR, MASMIRT(AP), University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, London, UK, comments on the exciting progression of AI diagnostic tools from use in controlled clinical studies to use in real-world clinical settings. One such tool is qXR, an AI tool which is soon to be employed clinically with the aim of diagnosing lung cancer earlier.
