Stephen Chun, MD, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Centre, Houston, TX, discusses the recent consensus guidelines developed for thymic carcinoma. Modified Delphi methodology was used in a multidisciplinary panel to review the appropriateness of certain procedures for the treatment of thymic carcinoma. Important recommendations included encouragement of advanced radiation technologies to avoid excess radiation, chemoradiation therapy for unresectable thymic carcinomas, and postoperative radiotherapy as a requirement. This interview took place at the 2023 World Conference on Lung Cancer (WCLC) in Singapore, Singapore.
