ESMO 2023 | Does ctDNA have a role in identifying actionable mutations in CRC?

Davide Ciardiello, MD, University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli, Naples, Italy, speculates on the use of ctDNA including in earlier settings when tissue biopsy is not available, and importantly in refractory settings where ctDNA can capture the landscape of heterogeneity in molecular alterations in colorectal cancer and may help guide treatment decision making.
