Jia (Jenny) Liu, MD, PhD, St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney, Australia, comments on how dendrimer nanoparticles can improve the delivery of chemotherapy to patients. The size of the nanoparticle can reduce off target toxicity and prevent the drug being metabolized in the liver, reducing the severity of adverse events in patients. This interview took place during the 2024 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Meeting in Chicago, IL.
