ESMO GI 2024 | NETTER-2: 177Lu-DOTATATE in gastroenteropancreatic NETs

Lorenza Rimassa, MD, IRCCS Humanitas Research Hospital, Milan, Italy, gives an overview of the Phase II NETTER-2 trial (NCT03972488) of the radioligand 177Lu-DOTATATE in gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (NETs). Patients with grade 2 or 3 tumors, as well as tumors originating from the pancreas or small intestine were enrolled. 177Lu-DOTATATE in the first line setting was proven to be efficacious in all cohorts, suggesting that it should be the standard of care in this setting. This interview took place at 2024 European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Gastrointestinal Cancers Annual Congress in Munich, Germany.
