Xiuning Le, MD, PhD, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX, explores updated results from the Phase Ib FURTHER study (NCT05364073) of firmonertinib in patients with EGFR PACC-mutated non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). In first-line metastatic NSCLC, firmonertinib demonstrated promising efficacy, and CNS antitumor activity was also observed. There was a manageable safety profile, with no treatment discontinuations due to adverse events. This interview took place at the 2024 World Conference on Lung Cancer (WCLC) in San Diego, CA.
