SMR 2024 | The potential of rechallenging the RAF pathway with NRAS inhibitors in melanoma

Janice Mehnert, MD, Perlmutter Cancer Center of NYU Langone Health, New York, NY, discusses the emerging role of NRAS inhibitors as a rechallenge strategy in melanoma. Multiple combinations of BRAF inhibitors have been used to achieve a response when rechallenging the RAF pathway. Whilst it may be too early to achieve the same performance with NRAS inhibitors, a rechallenge has the potential to induce the regression of resistance-causing clones. This interview took place at the 21st International Congress of the Society for Melanoma Research (SMR) in New Orleans, LA.
