Ting Bao, MD, MS, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Boston, MA, comments on the importance of early screening for chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN). Dr Bao recommends that patients undergoing chemotherapy and those who have completed chemotherapy should fill out a CIPN questionnaire to help healthcare professionals identify symptoms earlier, thereby avoiding unnecessary further chemotherapy and potential functional decline. This interview took place at the 2024 San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium (SABCS) congress in San Antonio, TX.
