Nicola Keohane, BSc, MSc, St James’s Hospital, Dublin, Ireland, comments on the availability of diagnostic services for younger patients. With a global increase in young onset cancer, Ms Keohane advocates for the education of general practitioners on this prevalence and improved accessibility to cancer screening programs. Specifically, she highlights that the age at which patients are invited for colorectal cancer screening is particularly high and stresses the importance of lowering the screening age. This interview took place at the ASCO GI Cancers Symposium 2025 in San Francisco, CA.
