Martin Zarba, MD, Instituto Alexander Fleming, Buenos Aires, Argentina, discusses the real-world efficacy of cabozantinib in second-line metastatic renal cell carcinoma (RCC), evaluating outcomes across different prior treatment regimens. Response rates and survival were consistent with the METEOR trial (NCT01865747), including in patients previously treated with immunotherapy combinations. These findings support the continued use of cabozantinib in clinical practice, highlighting its activity regardless of prior therapy. This interview took place at the ASCO GU Cancers Symposium 2025 in San Francisco, CA.
