Isabel Rubio, MD, PhD, Clinica Universidad de Navarra, Madrid, Spain, comments on the need for more studies to inform clinical practice decisions, particularly for debatable treatments, and highlights the value of real-world data in guiding treatment decisions. The availability of data on patients treated with optimized systemic and local-regional treatments can provide valuable insights into the effectiveness of de-escalating treatments. This interview took place at the 2025 St. Gallen International Breast Cancer Consensus Meeting in Vienna, Austria.
