ASCO 2025 | Phase I/II trial of alectinib in pediatric patients with ALK-fusion tumors

Francois Doz, MD, Institut Curie, Paris, France, discusses the Phase I/II iMATRIX Alectinib trial (NCT04774718) of alectinib in children and adolescents with ALK fusion-positive solid or CNS tumors. The study reports a favorable safety profile, with most adverse events being low grade. Promising antitumor activity was observed across both CNS and solid tumor types, including in treatment-naïve patients. This interview took place during the 2025 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Meeting in Chicago, IL.
