Michael Ong, MD, BSc, FRCPC, The Ottawa Hospital Cancer Centre, Ottawa, Canada, comments on a real-world analysis from the IRONMAN registry evaluating PSA thresholds at 6 and 12 months following treatment with androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) and androgen-receptor pathway inhibitors (ARPIs) in men with metastatic hormone-sensitive prostate cancer (mHSPC). The study highlights that PSA levels above 0.2 are linked to significantly worse outcomes, suggesting a need for treatment intensification. This interview took place during the 2025 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Meeting in Chicago, IL.
