Emmanuel Seront, MD, PhD, Cliniques Universitaires Saint Luc, Brussels, Belgium, discusses the Phase II RENALUT (NCT06783348) of 177Lu-PSMA-617 in patients with metastatic clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) who have progressed on tyrosine kinase inhibitors and immune checkpoint inhibitors. The trial explores PSMA-targeted radioligand therapy as a novel approach, assessing objective response rate, progression-free survival, overall survival, and safety. RENALUT leverages PSMA expression in tumor neovasculature to offer a potential new treatment option for this heavily pretreated population, with imaging-guided therapy and additional cycles for responders. This interview took place at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2025 Congress in Berlin, Germany.
