Lin Kong, MD, Shanghai Proton and Heavy Ion Center, Shanghai, China, discusses the efficacy of proton and heavy ion radiotherapy in head and neck tumor cells for diagnosis and treatment. This form of radiotherapy can spare more healthy tissue around the tumor, reducing the risk of damage to the patient. This interview took place at the 2025 Chinese Anti-Cancer Association (CACA) Science & Technology Award Talks in Kunming, China.
