ASCO 2026 | APROMISS: catequentinib hydrochloride in alveolar soft part sarcoma

Margaret von Mehren, MD, Fox Chase Cancer Center, Philadelphia, PA, presents results from the APROMISS trial (NCT03016819) of catequentinib hydrochloride, an oral multitargeted receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI), in patients with advanced alveolar soft part sarcoma (ASPS). Despite the objective response rate falling marginally below the predefined threshold, results demonstrated prolonged disease control, durable responses, and favorable progression-free and overall survival outcomes, alongside a manageable safety profile. This interview took place during the 2026 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Meeting in Chicago, IL.
