Darren Feldman, MD, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York, NY, shares insights into how clinicians should manage brain metastasis in patients with poor-risk testicular cancer. Dr Feldman describes the typical presentation of patients with brain metastasis, including extensive lung metastases, very high hCG levels and choriocarcinoma histology, and highlights their high-risk of bleeding, necessitating frequent imaging and multidisciplinary care.
