ASCO 2026 | Using spatial RNA-protein profiling to identify ADC targets in LMS

Carlos Torrado, MD, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, explores how spatial RNA-protein profiling could be used to identify antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) targets in leiomyosarcoma (LMS). Key analysis including heterogeneity, co-expression and survival associations revealed several targets, as well as several combination targets. Findings are exploratory and require validation with immunohistochemistry and clinical trials. This interview took place during the 2026 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Meeting in Chicago, IL.
