ESMO GI 2026 | PROCEADE-PanTumor: Precem-TcT in pre-treated metastatic pancreatic cancer

Lorenza Rimassa, MD, Hunimed University, Milan, Italy, comments on interim results from the Phase Ib/II PROCEADE-PanTumor study (NCT06710132) of precemtabart tocentecan (Precem-TcT), an anti-CEACAM5 antibody-drug conjugate (ADC), in pretreated, high CEACAM5-expressing metastatic pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). The agent showed encouraging response and disease control rates alongside manageable progression-free survival, comparing favorably with current second-line standards of care. Additional studies will be needed to compare the ADC with daraxonrasib, another promising agent in this space. This interview took place at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Gastrointestinal Cancer 2026 Congress in Munich, Germany.
