The Manchester Lung Health Check Pilot has taken screening into the community, where many are at high-risk of lung cancer, as discussed here by Philip Crosbie, MBChB, MRCP, PhD, of the University of Manchester, Manchester, UK. Speaking from the British Thoracic Oncology Group (BTOG) 2019 Annual Conference in Dublin, Ireland, Dr Crosbie highlights how blood samples in the second round were used for biomarker screening, which has provided a model for patient selection for screening.
