Cab + atezo: a new treatment for naïve advanced ccRCC
Laurence Albiges, MD, PhD, Gustave Roussy Institute, Villejuif, France, discusses results from a Phase Ib trial, COSMIC-021 (NCT03170960), investigating the use of cabozantinib in combination with atezolizumab as first-line therapy for advanced clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC). This study showed that cabozantinib plus atezolizumab demonstrated encouraging anti-tumor activity in patients with advanced ccRCC.
