ESMO 2020 | A new mode of collective migration in colorectal cancer dissemination

Emmanuel Dornier, PhD, Gustave Roussy Institute, Villejuif, France, discusses a new mode of collective migration that has been identified in a study of cancer dissemination from metastatic intermediates of hypermethylated colorectal patients. The study found that this mode of migration is completely dependent of focal adhesions, relying only on the actin-myosin contractility of the system. This interview was recorded via an online conference call with The Video Journal of Oncology (VJOncology).
