Speaking on social media for cancer education

Dr Morgan founded OncoAlert Network in 2019 to promote education on cancer-related topics and help oncology professionals globally stay up to date on the latest advancements in cancer research. He recognized the central role that social media can play in helping oncology professionals and patient advocates stay connected and informed, which led to the creation of the nonprofit organization, OncoAlert Network. He launched the OncoAlert Consortium with 15 national oncology societies, which aimed to develop educational opportunities in low- and middle-income countries. OncoAlert continues to expand and conducts ongoing collaborations with partners such as ESMO, American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), and other oncology societies to support this initiative.
