Himanshu Nagar, MD, MS, is a board-certified radiation oncologist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York, NY, currently directing the Genitourinary Program in the Department of Radiation Oncology, where he leads treatment strategy and clinical trial development for prostate, bladder, and kidney malignancies
He completed his undergraduate studies at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD, followed by earning his MD from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, TX. He then pursued residency training in Radiation Oncology at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medicine, serving as Chief Resident in his final year. Dr Nagar has also been recognized with multiple honors and research awards, including Physician of the Year from NewYork-Presbyterian, and has participated in translational and clinical research initiatives at Weill Cornell Medicine

Dr Nagar specializes in radiation oncology for genitourinary malignancies, including prostate, bladder, and kidney cancers. He employs advanced techniques such as stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) and brachytherapy, and leverages real-time imaging and adaptive planning to maximize precision and minimize side effects.
Clinically, Dr Nagar is deeply involved in translational and clinical research, focusing on refining and personalizing radiotherapy protocols.
