Paolo Tarantino, MD, PhD, is a breast medical oncologist and a current clinical research fellow at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA. Dr Tarantino specializes in breast cancer research and early phase drug development. He completed his PhD in clinical research from the University of Milan, Milan, Italy, and was previously a researcher in the Department of Experimental Oncology at the European Institute of Oncology, Milan, Italy.

Dr Tarantino’s research focuses on exploring the HER2 oncoprotein, the pathology of HER2-low breast tumors and the development of novel antibody-drug conjugates that target multiple subtypes of breast cancer. He has more than fifty publications on breast cancer research to date.
