Deniz Koksal, MD, Hacettepe University, Ankara, Türkiye, presents insights from the Phase I CREATE study (NCT05817110), which evaluated the use of artificial intelligence (AI) applied to chest X-rays for identifying high-risk lung nodules. The study compared an AI-derived lung nodule malignancy score (LNMS) with standard assessments on low-dose CT scans. The results showed strong concordance between the AI model and CT-based evaluations, highlighting the potential of AI-enhanced chest X-rays as a practical and accessible tool for lung cancer screening, particularly in resource-constrained settings. This interview took place at the European Lung Cancer Congress (ELCC) 2025 in Paris, France.
