BTOG 2021 | Update from the UK Lung Cancer Coalition (UKLCC)

Robert Rintoul, BSc, MBChB, FRCP, PhD, Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Cambridge, UK, shares an update on the activities of the UK Lung Cancer Coalition (UKLCC). The main objectives of the UKLCC are to raise political and public awareness of lung cancer, to empower patients to take an active role in their care, and to drive improvements in services for lung cancer patients in the UK. Dr Rintoul also comments on the UKLCC’s work investigating the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on the management and treatment of patients with lung cancer. This interview took place during the 19th British Thoracic Oncology Group (BTOG) Annual Conference 2021.
