ASCO 2022 | Impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on cancer services in the UK

Anna Claire Olsson-Brown, MBChB, The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre, Birkenhead, UK, reflects on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on cancer services within the UK, highlighting the evolving approaches of management of patients with cancer, as well as the initiatives of the UK Coronavirus Cancer Monitoring Project (UK CCMP) which aims to understand pathogenesis, patients at risk, suitability of treatment and appropriate interventions.
