ASCO GI 2021 | Prognostic value of tumor deposits in stage III colon cancer patients

Romain Cohen, MD, PhD, Saint-Antoine Hospital, AP-HP, Paris, France, outlines a post-hoc analysis of the CALGB/SWOG 80702 study (NCT01150045), evaluating the prognostic value of tumor deposits in stage III colon cancer patients. The results of this analysis suggest that the number of tumor deposits has a linear deleterious effect on the prognosis of patients with colon cancer and may be a valuable tool in increasing the accuracy of TNM staging. This interview was recorded via an online conference call with The Video Journal of Oncology (VJOncology).
