GU Cancers 2024 | The emerging role of gene therapies for bladder cancer

Siamak Daneshmand, MD, University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA, comments on the future of gene therapies for bladder cancer. Multiple gene therapies with varying mechanisms of action are under development and the use of oncolytic viruses will hopefully enable future agents to generate an immune response in addition to directly targeting the tumor.
