As the number of patients that survive cancer continue to grow, the challenge of how to safeguard the long-term wellbeing of patients arises. Here, Andrew Bottomley, PhD, from the European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC), Brussels, Belgium, stresses the need for implementing new models of care in order to address this challenge, including the legislations involved in receiving insurance, and how the everlasting worry of reoccurrence can be reduced. This video was recorded at the 2018 National Cancer Research Institute (NCRI) Cancer Conference, held in Glasgow, UK.
