Eric Jonasch, MD, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX, discusses findings from a Phase I/II trial (NCT05119335) of NKT2152, an oral HIF-2α inhibitor, in patients with heavily pretreated advanced clear cell renal carcinoma (accRCC). There were dose escalation cohorts and additional cohorts that included patients resistant to belzutifan. NKT2152 showed encouraging efficacy in patients, and the safety profile was consistent with similar agents. This interview took place at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2024 Congress in Barcelona, Spain.
