Roger Wheelwright, prostate cancer nurse specialist at John Taylor Hospice, Erdington, UK talks about his current effort to build upon the success of Benjamin Brothers, a campaign to raise awareness of prostate amongst Afro-Caribbean men in Birmingham, by providing pop-up clinics that would could provide basic tests for prostate cancer. He explains that, while Benjamin Brother’s was well accepted in the community and the uptake of going to GP’s was high, more men could be captured if pop-up clinics were provided. Currently funding is being sought for such a project. Recorded at the 2016 Annual Meeting of the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS), held in Brighton, UK.
