Stephanie Kroeze, MD, PhD , University Hospital of Zürich (Universitätsspital Zürich), Zurich, Switzerland, discusses the use of stereotactic ablative radiotherapy (SABR) in lung cancer. SABR is particularly used to treat stage I lung cancer but can be also used for metastases at very high doses and focally, so that it treats the tumor whilst sparing the surrounding tissue. This interview took place at the IASLC 2022 World Conference on Lung Cancer congress in Vienna, Austria.
