AACR 2022 | Can we reverse the mechanisms by which obesity increases the risk of breast cancer?

Kristy A. Brown, PhD, Weill Cornell Medical College, New York, NY, discusses the question surrounding whether the increased risk of breast cancer from obesity can be reversed. Exercise is known to reduce the risk of breast cancer, presenting the possibility that factors generated through exercise or the reduction in weight from exercise contributes to a decreased risk of breast cancer.
