ECCO 2017 | Sharing routine patient data between GPs and hospitals

Scott Murray, MD, FRCGP, FRCP Edin from the University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, Scotland, discusses data sharing between GPs and hospitals at the European Cancer Congress of the European Cancer Organisation (ECCO) 2017 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. In Scotland, an electronic system has been introduced whereby routine data can be sent from GPs to hospitals, in order to improve the quality of care and response rates provided by the hospital.
