ASCO GI 2024 | Deep learning algorithms for monitoring pancreatic cancer progression and risk assessment

Davide Placido, PhD, University of Copenhagen, Copenhagen, Denmark, discusses the development of a model for early detection of pancreatic cancer using disease trajectory from the Danish National Patient Registry. This model has the potential to improve screening criteria for pancreatic cancer as well as to provide personalized risk to patients. This interview took place at the 2024 ASCO Gastrointestinal (GI) Cancers Symposium in San Francisco, CA.
