Valentina Boni, MD, PhD, Universitary Hospital Quirónsalud Madrid, Madrid, Spain, discusses the potential of a ISM6331, a pan-TEAD inhibitor, discovered using an AI platform, which targets a hypoxia pathway and shows promising activity in mesothelioma, a hard-to-treat disease. This concept, assessed in a Phase I trial, NCT06566079, represents a proof of concept for the use of AI in developing new drugs that can inhibit novel pathways. This interview took place at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2026 Congress in Madrid, Spain.
