AACR 2022 | Highlights from the AACR annual meeting

Meenakshi Anurag, PhD, Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, TX, discusses her highlights from the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) annual meeting. Dr Anurag enjoyed thinking about somatic mutations in the normal tissues and samples rather than tumor samples. Thinking about this shall help us understand some of the progenitor forms of these tumors and how some healthy tissues and cells become more tumorigenic and pathogenic. This interview took place at the American Association for Cancer Research Annual Meeting in New Orleans, LA.
