VJVirtual | What are some reproductive health concerns patients with cancer face?

Kathell Geraghty, Northern Institute for Cancer Research, Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, discusses sexual health issues patients with cancer may face during their course of treatment. Body image may be affected, especially in patients undergoing a mastectomy. Additional hormonal changes may affect women who are treated with aromatase inhibitors such as anastrozole and letrozole. Men may face prostate issues and erectile dysfunction when receiving certain treatments such as hormonal therapy and chemotherapy. This interview was recorded via an online conference call with The Video Journal of Oncology (VJOncology).
