Robert Rutledge, MD, FRCPC, Dalhousie University, Halifax, Canada, outlines the prostate cancer-patient empowerment program (PC-PEP), which aims to address issues surrounding higher depression rates in patients with prostate cancer (PC). PC-PEP provides exercise tasks, scientific updates, relaxation techniques and social connections to improve various aspects of patient health. Phase II trials (NCT03660085) have confirmed physical and mental health improvements, and a Phase IV international trial is underway. This interview took place at the 2025 European Association of Urology (EAU) Congress in Madrid, Spain.
