NCRI 2017 | Analyzing cancer imaging data from few datasets

Julia Schnabel

When studying patient data, many fields of cancer medicine will have large databases containing information from tens of thousands of patients to draw conclusions from. Here, Julia Schnabel, PhD, of King’s College London, London, UK, explains that this is not the case in cancer imaging. Rather, they focus on the quality of available datasets and use machinery that can glean a lot of information from single patient scans. This interview was recorded at the 2017 National Cancer Research Institute (NCRI) Conference, held in Liverpool, UK.
